What a weekend! 1: #bsltour @scigallerylon 18 attended out of 25 booked to see #vitalsigns everyone said they never knew about the gallery! This will be repeated on 5th April if you want to make your day more enjoyable another tour @hayward.gallery same day after this one! 2: The weekend led to planning my next exhibition with the curator @caitdavies95 and reflecting on my past present and future for the #rubbenaartsolo2025 3: We went through those paintings discovering what I have been doing in becoming me. Leading to #printing #blockprintingworkshop #blockprinting making their own patterns and designs for their armours! @wallacemuseum #keystage2 Even great to see them over the years growing confident to communicate and learnt more every time about the history behind armours and the art collections.

We really do need to listen to #deafchildren the way they see the world. If we understand their views, we can encourage them to #speakup acknowledge them. We should talk about barriers and how we feel about it. They feel sad that hearing children bully them, the feel frustrated that they cannot go to see a movie because there are no subtitles as a reasonable time and day, they feel emotional not being understood or heard when they try to Speak Up. Listen to them, understand their views and support change in society, education, communication, and the future. @rachelclarkedance Workshop in Doncaster December 2024

#deafchildren #keystage1 ages 4-5 years old came to @wallacemuseum to explore historical portraits and how they pose with different clothing. They got to try out the royal cape feeling like Kings and Queens! Explore what they were like dressed up and seeing beautiful decorations! We learnt to draw portraits and created own crowns with jewels! They were especially excited to take these back to school and share with everyone! #bsltour #deafled #deafartist #artworkshop #museum #access
